Day 4

I didn't think I was going to post day 4 of the feb photo challenge because today's challenge is to take a picture of a stranger.

I haven't left my house all day so I haven't seen a stranger. I have been getting the house ready for our super bowl party tomorrow.

I didn't realize how much clutter I have ... Wow

Anyway while I was getting baby girl to sleep Gregg starting mopping the hall...

Today's challenge is Hands...
as soon as i read this I though of the perfect picture...

also another picture i got made fun of...

but now it is coming in handy!!

Day 2: Words

Day 2 of the February Photo Challenge is .... Words

I'm so excited about this one!!

I love taking pictures...I take pictures of everything

I honestly don't know why...I guess just to catch those normal little moments

Most of every picture I see of me when I was a child is posed or on a holiday...I want memories of "life" when Lyla was little...regular..normal...nothing exciting going on....LIFE!

Gregg often makes fun of me or comments on how many pictures I take...

or

when I ask him to do that again ...or FREEZE until I get my camera (and since I've started blogging I am so happy knowing that I am not the only woman that does that)

Anyway...this is one of those pictures I got made fun of for taking...but now I am happy I did...this is an old picture..I took it before we left on vacation...but I love it and it will work

ok ..so let me explain...

no ..Gregg and I aren't the couple that says,

Love you

no I love you

no I love you more

no I love you more

I can't stand that...but one day Gregg told Lyla that he loved her..

She said, "Love you too"

He said, "Love you more"

Then she replied, "Love you most"

Which if you haven't yet seen Tangled ...Mother Gothel and Rapunzel have the same conversation

So it kinda stuck with us...we ARE that couple now...

but it makes me smile...

Starting out February with JOY!

So I am still going strong with Ann Voskamp's Joy Dare 2012...

She posted the calendar for February ...for our Joy Dare...

I have made a new page on my blog up at the top by the header that says 1000 gifts...

I am listing all my gifts there...I can't believe how many I have listed already...and just in one month I have looked back on what I have been blessed with so many times...and have just sat in this computer chair thinking of all those that don't even have clean water to drink...and I would "prefer" a Dr Pepper instead water...

I am blessed...

off to list my gifts for the first day of February!!

I wanna sleep by myself!!

Calling all mothers!

I have no idea what to do with Lyla..I have asked this question before but so far nothing I have tried has worked.

Lyla is getting to be such a big girl and I am so super proud of her....

When it is bedtime we go in her room ...turn on music and I lay with her until she falls asleep. She used to lay on the couch until she fell asleep then I would put her in bed...so I feel like we made a good step by going to sleep in her own bed...She has even given up having to have a sippy cup while she goes to sleep...now she just takes a drink and goes to sleep.

Everything is GREAT

until

2am

Then I hear feet hit the floor and my bedroom door opens by a little girl who wants to cuddle.

If I talk to her before we go to bed and tell her how big of a girl she would be if she slept in HER room ALL night long...when she wakes up she yells for her daddy and says, "Help...I'm scared"
Then she blames it on her daddy saying..."Well when I wake up Daddy gets me and puts me in your bed"

ha ha

She's a smart one!

Anyway...I think I have gotten 4 hours of sleep THIS WEEK!! Once she gets in our bed...sleep is over with because we are all fighting for a piece of the bed. It is getting ridiculous.

Help!
