Dang..I gotta do catch up!

I was doing so good with the photo challenge...

I was so proud of myself...

I downloaded an app for Blogger on my phone and tried posting from there..but I guess it didn't work...

Now I gotta catch up...

Day 7: a button

Today's challenge is to take a picture of a button.

This one had me thinking ... The tv button.. The button Gregg pushes that makes me flip out .. The lock button on my office door...

All good buttons

But today God gave us a blah rainy day ( which I would love if I had the day off) and we couldn't go outside.. And by we.. I mean me and 12 three year olds .. So for sure without a shadow of a doubt my PLAY button in my radio is the button of choice today.

I push that button to play some soft lullabies and all 12 three year old fall fast asleep for an hour.

I love that button.

Day 6: Dinner

Today's challenge in our February Photo Challenge is DINNER

This topic had to be today...not a day where I actually cook a real full meal and make myself look like the Pioneer Woman...

Today for dinner we are having left overs from our Super Bowl party...
I swear Gregg had no socialization as a child...because if we have a small get together for a Super Bowl he makes enough food to feed a small country...

We had a great time though..I enjoyed my Daddy being over here....I don't see him enough
I am a Daddy's girl through and through....

There was some hilarious commercials..I think my favorite was the Dog and Doritos commercial:

Madonna did a good half time show...I thought it was a little funny that she was grinding on all the dancers...then came out in a choir robe....but the half time shows are getting a little bit better every year since the famous "wardrobe malfunction"

Oh Monday!

Well..today is Monday!


Gregg came to my work today to give me Lyla's blanket for naptime and told me we had about $500 missing from our bank account...which..of course freaked me out...
then he mentioned that he forgot to deposit my check...

If you have been reading my blog (if you haven't then shame on you!...start now!) then you know that I am taking the JOY DARE with Ann Voskamp over at Holy Experience..and I am so suprised that I have kept up with this...I love it. I think everyone should do this for at least a month..it really opens your eyes and makes you realize what you DO have instead of what you DON'T
At a young age Ann watched her baby sister be ran over by a truck and she mentioned at how the neighbor just kept on tilling his garden...didn't even turn off his tiller...I couldn't imagine the sight...the feeling...the pain and hurt..and how to even move on after something like that...but I think it is amazing that she started looking at blessings God had given her..instead of what God had taken from her.

I don't want to get all mushy..but You don't know how much time you have left on this Earth. The night we were going out to eat and only God kept us safe and made Gregg stop the car from the guy who ran the red light has really made me thankful for every minute I have had with Lyla on this Earth.

I have a page up at the top of my blog ( 1000 Gifts ) to list all my gifts this year...and eventhough it is just February..I like to already look back and see what I have jotted down as gifts so far this year.

Day 5: my day at 10am

At 10am this morning Lyla was playing in her room, Gregg was sleeping, and I was sitting on the couch under a fuzzy blanket watching 'say yes to the dress' eating a bowl of wonderfully delicious frosted flakes.
