So excited for Summer!!

I hate hot weather!
I hate sweating!
I hate sun burns!

but I am so excited that it is summer time...

Summer time means relaxing...

We start our summer program at school tomorrow...no more hammering letters and numbers on little kiddos...now we get to play and have fun! So exciting!! I know we already have bounce arounds scheduled...cooking days...bike days...craft days...movie days...yay!!
And starting this summer my little Lyla is going to school with me!! This could be a good thing or a bad thing...but I am excited and so is she!

Then after work and school we can go HOME! and actually have some kind of after school routine...clean up the house...cook supper...play outside...bath and bedtime! I love love love routines...and here lately with Lyla staying up at my moms..it has been hard to have any kind of routine.

It is actually past nap time at the Brewer household so I am going to lay Miss Lyla down for a nap then come back and start catching up on some blog reading...posting some pictures...and setting a plan for some major fun this summer!!

So glad to be back!!

Zero!

That is how much time I feel like I have had to sit down and actually be able to think about a blog post!

I had a little event going on with Lyla's preschool...every day i would drop her off she would scream.
I know ..I am a preschool teacher myself...i know that there is a transition time...i know it takes kids a little while to get comfortable with thier surroundings..but something was different. Lyla talks very well and she would flat out tell me..."mom, i dont' like that playground, i don't like that teacher, i want (my old teacher) back and i don't want to go back"
What do you say to that?
I kept telling her that she will get used to it..and she will love it even more than the baby room...
but after a good amount of time ...she would still scream in the mornings...something just wasn't right in my heart and gut to make her keep going.
Obviously something wasn't right with my moms gut either because she called to tell me to take her out until I can enroll her where i work at and she would watch her in the mean time.

so i did

but now after work i have to drive an hour to my moms to pick her up and of course we spend every moment we can at nanny and poppa's house so we don't usually leave until dark...long story short....i don't see my house in the daylight!

But...in June!
In June...Lyla will go to school/work with me..and after work...we can come HOME!

I love her having time to hang with grandma and grandpa though!!

so now it is the weekend..and i am sneaking a few minutes to update....because we fixing to head out to look at a house in the country...
that we can't afford

but praying that if we are supposed to have it....
God will work his miracles.

if not...
i like our house

i would prefer not to move

but for some reason i keep looking down that road everytime i go get Lyla from moms

and i just keep thinking about it...

so we are going to look....check it out

and see what happens.

Lazy Day!

I have done absolutely nothing today!

and

it was wonderful!!

i have played and played on the computer and worked on my Project Life .... I am so proud of myself for "kinda" keeping up with it!

so i just wanted to check in you all...and now...i think i will dip me some ice cream and edit some pictures....

I have NOT....

fallen off the face of the Earth!

I promise!

Our house has been stricken with busy lives, laundry and viruses!

If anyone would like to take a few or all of those off my hands..you are more than welcome!

I promise I will get back to my regular blogging...I have a TON to talk about and ALOT of pictures to share!

But right now my priority is trying to get Miss Lyla better from whatever has a hold on her..she can't keep anything down and we are going on day 4
Hubby isn't feeling good now..I don't feel great but I REFUSE to be sick...I don't have time for stuff like that!

In between all of this ...I am trying to get my Tastefully Simple business going and if Baldor will let my husband a dang weekend off it would be much easier on me and my nerves!!!

And as much as I need another hole in my head...I want another dog!!
I don't need another dog...but a girl at work is selling her Great Dane...and he is ADORABLE!
And I want him..
He would be a great guard dog!!

Hubby isn't going for it though....

So this, my friends, is my quick update....the commercial is over ...I have to go finish American Idol!
