Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom!!
I swear the most Magical place in the world!
I don't see how you can come here...look at that castle and not believe that wishes and dreams can come true!!
I absolutely loved this place
my favorite park of them all!

Here is a picture of the castle!
Lyla was SO excited to see it..I was too!!
I wanted a ton of pictures of it!
I wanted to walk through it but everytime we got a chance to go by there ...they always had it blocked off for some reason.

There is a Cinderella's Royal Ball Dining Room in there....and I think when you have dinner in there that you get to dance like your in a ball with the Princesses...How cute!! We so have to do that next time!

And there is a Bippity Boppity Botique in there....where the little ones get dresses, hair and makeup, and of course a TON of glitter to look just like a princess!! We are doing that too!

I could stand there for hours..just looking at the castle..the detail in the architecture was amazing.

This is us getting ready for the Light Parade. It took us forever to find our friends because when we got into the park..Lyla had to potty...so of course we ran to find a potty...and if you lose a glimpse of your friends...your lost! There was a ton of people there. We learned really quickly that we weren't going to be able to keep up with everyone else...due to our potty breaks and tired 3 year old who refused to ride in a stroller and walked alot slower than everyone else.

But that was ok...we got our own map...and we wandered until we found something cool to do...which wasn't very far in any direction.

So here they are...all in a good spot...waiting for the parade to start

See Lyla?
so tired of pictures

This is the building we sat across from..I have no idea what was in there...
maybe
diamond horshoes?
i don't know

This was the street vendors! So cute!!
They sold drinks, ice creams, snacks, etc

Here is the Tinker Bell float.
The Light Parade...was one of my favorite activites of our vacation

Cinderella's ball

The clock striking midnight.

I didn't get alot of pictures of the Light Parade because I took alot of video.

The last float was "To Honor America"

It was HUGE!
It had an American Flag draping over the whole thing...with fireworks...an eagle
everything American!

It almost brought a tear to my eye!

Here is Main Street in the Magic Kingdom
It was dark so everything was lit up

The castle ...again!
It changed colors randomly everytime you looked at it.
Lyla liked it purple
Sometimes it would change to blue...and she said blue was for boys and that was a princess castle so it should not be blue

Mickey's theater

I love how old fashioned it looked

Here was the train station that we swore we were gonna ride on...but never did

See ya real soon!

Meeting the Mickey Characters!!

When we had dinner with Mickey ...we seen Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, and Donald.

You are seated at your table...and that dinner was a buffet so you go get your plate and just sit and eat...and the characters come to your table.

It is really neat because there is no standing in line in the sun...or having to punch an old lady for a picture...they come to you!

The first one that came to our table was Pluto...and Lyla just wasn't real sure how she felt about the big dog....

She would high five him...but that was about it...

She was excited...see her looking at him?
But she didn't want to get close

these are all the kids that went with us...
we had a blast!!

finally a high five!

She LOVED Goofy!
He got a hug and everything....

This is one of my favorite pictures of the whole vacation!!

Mickey was really short!!

After Goofy...Lyla started to loosen up I guess...cause every character after that got a hug!!

can you see her feet are NOT touching the ground!!
So worth the expense of the whole trip!!

a little excited
a little

When Goofy came out he told the kids to get thier napkins and wave them around...
so cute!!

How stinkin' cute is this!!!'
Thanks Brittany for the Minnie Dress!!

The bill...
crazy!!
Thank goodness for the dining plan!!

yummy little desserts!

Lyla had such a good time...so did all the adults!! I enjoyed seeing all the characters.
My friend Trish and I ...just about..not fully...but almost teared up a little bit
ok .... we both cried
when the kids were so excited to see the characters...
I don't know what it was....but to see your child hug the character that she has spent HOURS watching on TV...does something to you
To see your child so excited that all they can do is jump....just does something to you!!

I will definately go back when Lyla is bigger....and maybe will have a new addition to the family to break in to the Walt Disney World!!

Dinner with Mickey Mouse

So by this day on our vacation ..I can't even remember what day it is...
sad huh?
but whatever day this was...it was a dinner reservation with Mickey Mouse !!!

I brought Lyla's Minnie Mouse dress ..My cousin Brittany got her....for I think Christmas last year

can you tell she is really tired of pictures?

now she is telling me...I'm tired of pictures!

Chef Mickey's was the name of the place...and it was in the Contemporary Resort...which meant we got to the ride the monorail

I just loved that thing...it almost felt like a small rollercoaster but not scary...
ok..moving on

This was inside the contemporary resort...beautiful big window

and in the middle of the resort is this huge column...
I thought the painting was neat...
so................................
i took a picture!
ha!

Lyla was super excited about Dinner with Mickey!
That was the conversation for the whole 19 hours we were in the car..
Lyla would say, "I wanna see Mickey"
We would say, "Slowly but surely"

I was so glad when this day came because after all that driving....we had to deliver on our promise to see Mickey....and secretely I was praying that he wasn't there....because considering my luck....he character guy would have suddenly caught the flew...or when he walked out he would trip on a kid and never make it to our table..something...but God came through for me...
Mickey was there...alive and healthy!!!

We learned that just because you have a reservation...
doesn't mean that you have a reservation
you still have to wait for a table

wierd huh?

girls....
tired of waiting

finally made it to our table...the kiddos got a table to themselves...
and since it took so long to finally be seated....

They started looking at the "drink" menu!!!!
So funny!!!

While we were waiting to be seated ..I was going to have one of the other adults take a picture of me and Gregg while we had the chance...and my batteries went dead....

I told you .... my luck!!!

So I had to walk to the Marketplace of this resort...and buy FOUR batters for SIX dollars!! Wow! I was so mad because I bought a whole package of batteries before we left .... but of course....I forgot to pack them in the bag i took that day!
